What was the most difficult promise you made?

Posted on Dec 2nd, 2008 by Beth : Harmony Beth
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 02, 2008:

The most difficult promises I make are the are the ones to myself. I am in a habit of letting myself down. I promise to make changes in my life and I have to work really hard to keep them.

That and not telling a person I bought a really neat Christmas gift for what it is. It is so hard to wait for Christmas to see the expression on their face.

What is your wish for this month?

Posted on Dec 1st, 2008 by Beth : Harmony Beth
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 01, 2008:

I am wishing that I am able to pass all my classes with the grades I want and find the money to continue my education for next semester.  I am praying that the kids developing in my doe goats will be healthy and delivered safely, and that the milk the doe provides will be able to give us lots of milk and cheese. I also have a wish that all the little business plans I have to make a few dollars to support me and my animals will be successful.

Where are you on your spiritual path?

Posted on Nov 30th, 2008 by Beth : Harmony Beth
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 23, 2008:

I call myself a Christan, but in many ways not in the same way that so many who pack into churches every Sunday do. I go to church at times, but I find that I don't fit in with the cookie cutter christan at so many churches today. I am single, not married with 3 children. People in church don't understand this.

I believe in the Bible and I have been baptized as an adult. I am sure of my place with God, I just don't fit in to the main stream.

Who is the youngest person you know?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 30, 2008:

I have a co worker with a almost 3 year old son. I would tell him to not be like is father. That the world is a big place and there is plenty of room for everyone to be who they are, as long as they don't harm others we should be free to be who we are.

What have you learned from moving?

Posted on Nov 30th, 2008 by Beth : Harmony Beth
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 21, 2008:

I have learn that as much as I love my books. . . they are REALLY heavy.

That box of junk that I carry from one place to another is never going to be used and I should just get rid of it.

If you have too much stuff it just cost you more money because you have to keep buying thing to replace the stuff you can't find because you you have too much stuff.

How do your emotions affect your body?

Posted on Nov 30th, 2008 by Beth : Harmony Beth
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 20, 2008:

When I am at ease, things are not stressing me out I am ligher and happier. Can get things done and able to deal with little stressors better. When larger stressors are around me, I eat, and I worry and I can't sleep.

I am starting to be able to realize that I am stressed when I just want to shove cake, potato chips, last night's left overs, and soda galor down my throat.

I have even noticed that when I am stressed I like to eat the above foods, but when I am not I eat healthier items.

Where have you been looking?

Posted on Nov 30th, 2008 by Beth : Harmony Beth
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 19, 2008:

I have been looking to see what really makes me happy. What I really value and now I am trying my hardest to follow up with that. I am going back to school to learn sign language and creating a little hobby farm to live a more sustainable life. There are certian themes that have made me happy throughout my life and I have ignored those to follow the dreams that others have, and the fit was not right.

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 18, 2008:

Haiti: I don't know why. When went to a mission conference in college, we learned about all different countries. Haiti is the one that really seemed to draw me. Their history, their culture, it just drew me in.

What makes your family unique?

Posted on Oct 17th, 2008 by Beth : Harmony Beth
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 17, 2008:

I would have to have to say that I have a pretty normal family. Full of dysfunction and  disharmony.

I think my sister and I have unique because we have choosen to not pass on our dysfunction, genetic tendency for depression, to a new generation by not passing on our genes.
