What makes your family unique?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 17, 2008:
I would have to have to say that I have a pretty normal family. Full of dysfunction and disharmony.
I think my sister and I have unique because we have choosen to not pass on our dysfunction, genetic tendency for depression, to a new generation by not passing on our genes.

Interesting. I think there are ways to have children and try to limit the dysfunction for them by changing behavior and patterns. Of course, I fully respect women who do not want children. It's a gift to the world to know who you are and what you want and don't want in life.
